The Arrival:

I left NYC saturday morning on a bus to Boston to stay at my friend Angel's for his birthday. I met my friend Karlo at 34 street early in the morning and hoped in the bus. After what seemed like 4 hours of the most uncomfortable seat in bus history we arrived to Boston and took the "T" to Cambridge Harvard Square where our friends were supposed to pick us up. You might think that there they were waiting for us at the station but instead told us to meet inside Harvard's actual campus. So you can only imagine this 2 New Yorkers in the middle of this campus with our scarves, boots, and glasses looking like we were going to a club at 1 in the afternoon ...I mean we looked like Romy and Michelle, waaayyy out of place! The area was way too packed for a saturday morning; there was a protest of some hotel ran by Harvard and in the middle there was an improvised stage with a band singing what I thought was DoWoop. I wouldn't bet my life on it though. All I could think was: aren't you all supposed to be studying? Isn't it almost finals season? I mean, you have to much time in your hands to be protesting about some non-union part time job at a hotel that you probably won't care about in a month when you graduate and move to NYC for your high end job! So thru a sea of sweatpants and shorts we met our friends and left. The Party:
Technically we started drinking at 4pm when our way to the supermarket we decided to make a pit stop for a pint of beer at some random Irish pub. When in Rome....Curious detail about the pub? It had a Leprachaun's door painted with chalk on the wall. I thought: these people don't need drugs to trip, they drink themselves to it!
The Club:
At this point everything was a blur....people dancing, kissing, shirtless at one point, drinking....let's just let the following video do the talking....

To be continued....

"I was really trying to give Angel something to remember his birthday by...apparently the WHOLE party got something to remember the party by"
